Abigail Cuffey is the Executive Editor of Women’s Health, the world’s leading women’s health media brand, where she oversees editorial strategy across print, digital, partnerships, and large-scale brand initiatives. A recognized leader in health journalism, Abigail has built award-winning content, led influential conversations on women’s health, and expanded the brand’s authority across fitness, wellness, and culture.

She is a co-host of WH’s The Huddle podcast and a frequent moderator and media speaker on topics shaping the future of women’s health. An award-winning editor, Abigail has been recognized with the MIN Media Unsung Hero Award and a Hearst Spotlight Award, served as an ASME Judge, and completed the NIH’s Medicine in the Media course.

Previously, she served as Deputy Editor at Woman’s Day, where she oversaw the magazine’s health content, managed all health-related brand extensions and events, and initiated and strengthened both new and existing partnerships related to cardiovascular health, brain health, and more. Abigail is also an adjunct professor at New York University, where she teaches a 14-week course called Editing Creative Content in the Masters program at the NYU Center for Publishing, Writing, and Media. She’s held executive positions at the non-profit, Girls on the Run NYC, and serves as race director for a tri-state area 5K.

An athlete since childhood, Abigail is personally and professionally passionate about helping more women take charge of their health and wellness through information and inspiration—and knows firsthand the power of movement. She’s completed a half-ironman, six marathons, ten half-marathons,
and countless other races. Abigail is a runner and strength training fanatic and lives in New Jersey with her husband and two children.
