Benjamin Caplan, MD, is a board-certified Family Medicine physician, author, researcher, and leading voice in cannabinoid medicine. As founder and Chief Medical Officer of CED Clinic, he has spent more than a decade helping patients make thoughtful, evidence-informed decisions about cannabis in the context of common clinical concerns, including pain, sleep, aging, medication use, and quality of life.

Dr. Caplan has served as a principal investigator in clinical research, contributed to peer-reviewed medical literature including The New England Journal of Medicine, and was the first physician invited to lecture on medical cannabis at Harvard Business School. He has also advised on federal cannabis policy and education initiatives, including work related to medical cannabis rescheduling.
