Co-founder & CEO, Peri

Heidi Davis is a scientist and healthtech innovator, and the co-founder and CEO of Peri, a women’s health company closing the gender health data gap, starting with perimenopause. Peri is the world’s first wearable and AI platform that objectively tracks perimenopausal symptoms using proprietary algorithms applied to continuous biometric data, delivering personalized, actionable insights that help women manage perimenopause with clarity and confidence. Since launching Peri five years ago, Heidi has led the development of the company’s patented technology, built a mission-driven team, and established a culture grounded in scientific rigor, inclusivity, and empathy. She has forged strategic partnerships and presented early findings at the British Menopause Society, positioning Peri at the forefront of data-driven innovation in women’s health. Heidi’s background spans human nutrition, molecular medicine, and consumer health. She holds a BSc in Human Nutrition from University College Dublin and an MSc in Molecular Medicine from Trinity College Dublin. Her early work focused on chronic disease prevention and early detection, including contributions to a major EU-funded research project identifying biomarkers for type 2 diabetes. Prior to Peri, Heidi spent over a decade developing science-backed products with real-world impact, including at the biotech company Nuritas, where she led the end-to-end development of PeptiStrong, from lab discovery through clinical trials to global commercial success with partners including GNC. A recognized advocate for women’s health and female physiology, Heidi is a frequent speaker at healthtech and women’s health events. She has been named one of HealthTech World’s Top 35 Women in HealthTech (2022), Healthcare Digital’s Top 10 Women to Watch (2023), and Enterprise Ireland’s Founder of the Year (2024).
