Stephanie Cowan is a Friendship Facilitator and community advocate based in San Francisco. She designs community experiences that spark joy, authenticity, and belonging among strangers and friends alike. Stephanie is the visionary behind The Drop In, a connective experience that brings people together through meaningful conversations, and serves as Friendship Director at Illuminate, fostering connection at the nonprofit's awe-inspiring public art events. Stephanie envisions a more connected San Francisco where every resident feels belonging, believing that when we design urban life with friendship in mind, we have the power to transform a city from the inside out.
